barKoder SDK is now compatible with Nativescript and Cordova

Introducing the Nativescript and Cordova barKoder Barcode Scanner SDK plugin

Placeholder are happy to announce that the long-awaited support for Nativescript and Cordova is now officially available for the barKoder Barcode Scanner SDK.

The barKoder Barcode Scanner SDK Nativescript plugin grants an easy to use Nativescript solution with a great and option-rich interface that can be integrated in both iOS and Android apps. Integrating the barKoder Barcode Scanner SDK into your Enterprise or Consumer-facing mobile apps will instantly transform your user's smartphones and tablets into rugged barcode scanning devices without the need to procure and maintain expensive and sluggish hardware devices that have a very short life span.

The barKoder Nativescript SDK can be obtained either through the barKoder NPM or directly via the Repository of the barKoder Portal, where you can obtain a completely free trial license for an initial duration of 30 days and support for up to 25 devices at your convenience. The barKoder Documentation Hub has been updated accordingly to include both a Nativescript Installation Guide, as well as an API Reference Doc offering a detailed description for all available API functions and how you can configure them.

On a similar note, the barKoder Barcode Scanner SDK is also available to Cordova developers. The barKoder Cordova plugin grants an easy to use solution with a multi-faceted and completely customizable interface that can be instantly integrated in both iOS and Android apps. The barKoder Cordova SDK can be obtained either through the barKoder NPM or directly via the Repository of the barKoder Portal. Full documentation will be released shortly on the barKoder Documentation Hub.

With the introduction of Cordova and NativeScript, we've fully accomplished our development plans for coverage of all major platforms and cross-development frameworks, with previously releasing the barKoder SDK for native Android and iOS, Flutter, React Native, Capacitor, Xamarin, .NET Maui and the Web. We would like to thank all involved including our prized customers who played a major part in testing all iterations of the barKoder API in real-world scenarios.
